This tour includes the Highlights around Cusco and Machu Picchu, is a combination of the City tour, tour Maras and Moray, Sacred Valley Tour and the Classic tour by Train tour to Machu Picchu with optional Waynapicchu Mountain climbing.
We pick you up at the airport any time to go to the hotel where you can rest and drink the famous & helpful coca tea for the altitude sickness and then you have free time before to explore the city with our guide at 13.00 to visit in Cusco the main Cathedral with their exquisites Cusquenian paintings, chapels, and others after with continue visiting the temple of the sun the Qoricancha of Cusco where you can see then the Qoricancha considered by the Inkas their most important religious site. Then we continue to visit all the archeological sites as Sacsayhuaman where the Locals make the festival of the sun based in the winter solstice on June 21st, also we visit the sites of Qenko, Pucapucará and Tambomachay then we come back to Cusco city and bring you to your hotel.
We pick you up in the hotel in Cusco at 8:30 am to take our bus and start our journey for 1 hr to the first place you will visit, the archaeological site of Moray (this was a kind of a greenhouse for Incas). Then we will visit the salt mines of Maras (SALINERAS), where more than 3000 fountains of water and salt are evaporating, we will be back in Cusco about 2:30 pm.
We pick you up at 8 am in your hotel, please you have bring the boletos turistico and the passports before to start our tours to the sacred valley in Pisaq then we drive up to Pisac Inca citadell where you can observe temples, residences, altars, channels, carvings, tunnels/caves and the famous Intihuatana “The hitching post of the Sun, to continue along with the sacred valley to Urubamba for the lunch after 40 minutes we continue to Ollantayatmbo to visit the enormous blocks of rock perfectly carved and polished in their temples after that we have time to visit the Ollantayambo village before to take the train to Machupicchu at 4:36 pm where we arrive at Aguas Calientes town at 6:15 pm.
Early in the morning after the breakfast we go to the bus station to take the bus up to Machu Picchu, you will have a guided tour for about 2 hours around the most important places and temples, here we are going to find 3 areas: the agricultural area, the urban area and the area of the temples, as the temple of the sun or the sundial. After the 2 hours guiding tour, we will have approximately 03 hours more free time to explore in your own the Sun gate and/or the Inka Bridge, before to take the bus to go down to Aguas Caliente for our train at 2:30pm heading to Ollantaytambo and then a van back to Cusco
